Fans of the prodigiously gifted Rainer Werner Fassbinder will find Beware of a Holy Whore the German director's most revealing look inside his filmmaking process. A kind of neurotic backstage comedy, the movie details the struggles of a film crew in Spain: the jealousies, tantrums, money problems. He doesn't spare himself in this process, as the movie's director (played by Lou Castel) is a petulant manipulator given to screaming fits.

Fassbinder himself plays a long-suffering production manager; the great pock-marked star of French B movies, Eddie Constantine, plays himself (looking somewhat bewildered by the deadpan jokes and frequent lulls). If the slack pacing and Warholian weirdness limit the movie, it nevertheless looks very vivid, thanks to future Hollywood cinematographer Michael Ballhaus. Fassbinder made around 40 features in his brief life, and this self-portrait gives hints about the maddening, mercurial personality that could pull off such a feat.

"Harold & Maude" is my most favourite movie with the unforgettable Ruth Gordon!

Harold and Maude is a cult classic film, featuring slapstick, dark humour, and existentialist drama, revolves around the exploits of a morbid young man – Harold (Bud Cort) – who drifts away from the life that his detached mother prescribes for him, as he develops a relationship with septuagenarian Maude (Ruth Gordon).

Harold is a depressed, death-obsessed 20-year-old man/child who spends his free time attending funerals and pretending to commit suicide in front of his mother. At a funeral, Harold befriends Maude, a 79-year-old woman who has a zest for life. She and Harold spend much time together during which she exposes him to the wonders and possibilities of life. After rejecting his mother's three attempts to set him up with a potential wife, and committing fake suicide in front of all of them, Harold announces that he is to be married to Maude. However, Maude has a surprise for Harold that is to change his life forever.

I have made an effort to synchronise as many subtitles as I could find (15 languages in total), so as many people as possible will be able to watch this marvel.

Whity is about an illegitimate mulatto son of a rich white man who acts as butler to his father's dysfunctional family in the American southwest. As time passes he becomes more than just a simple servant, but a confidant subjected to the family's perverse fantasies. The situation soon becomes unbearable and murder seems the only possible escape. The first collaboration between Fassbinder and cinematographer Michael Ballhaus.

Whity is the name of a black slave in Fassbinder’s still-bold take on the Spaghetti Western, even shot in one of Sergio Leone’s own locations. Whity is actually the illegitimate son of a wealthy, deranged landowner who does not consider him of any worth but slavery, because “half-breeds” are still considered full-breed of color in the power structure. Combine this with the explicit racism, homosexuality, cross-dressing and cast of other deranged character, and Fassbinder allows this to cross over into horror very quickly. Unlike most films in the cycle, this is one of the boldest and best that does not try to cash in on the huge box office success of The Dollars Trilogy. It even gets creepier when Fassbinder plays with the idea of skin color throughout.

Ranbir Raj (Ranbir Kapoor), a free spirited idealist – dreamer, arrives in a dreamy surreal town and joins as a lead singer in its swankiest club 'RK'. As he tries to strike a conversation, she shies away. But he still keeps following her and both end up becoming friends. This mystery girl, Sakina (Sonam Kapoor) forever carries a sadness in her eyes which leaves Ranbir intrigued. But so mesmerized he is with her that his every minute goes into discussing her with his land lady, Lillian (Zohra Sehgal) and Gulabji.

Just when Ranbir is about to express his true feelings to her, she reveals the reason behind her unhappiness. She tells him she is waiting for her love, Imaan (Salman Khan) to return. A year back before leaving, he had promised that he would be back and meet her on the same bridge that he saw her waiting. And then Raj confesses his love to her. At first, she resists, but gradually their love begin taking shape. For only a few moments, the two are completely in love, until a certain figure appears. Completely forgetting the strong love she felt for Raj, she spots Imaan and becomes jubilant.

Raj recognizes her happiness and tells her that he will live in those few moments that he truly spent with her, with the two of them in love. Bidding him a tearful goodbye, she leaves with Imaan.
